Welcome to the I Workshop on Meteorites and Impactites!
It is with great enthusiasm that we invite students, researchers, professors, and enthusiasts of Earth and Space Sciences to participate in the I Workshop on Meteorites and Impactites, which will take place on June 30 and July 1, in the city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
This event was created with the goal of bringing together specialists and the academic community to discuss topics related to the origin, classification, impacts, and scientific importance of meteorites and impactites, promoting integration among fields such as Geology, Astronomy, Planetary Science, and Astrochemistry.
The program will include lectures, scientific poster presentations, and a special public sky observation activity, helping to connect science with society and encourage scientific outreach.
With the support of CNPq, the workshop aims to strengthen scientific collaboration and foster new connections among researchers and students interested in extraterrestrial materials and planetary processes.
